We cruise through some of the most exotic scenery in the world and enjoy the best fishing. The tugboat is your resort and each two guests are supplied with a fully equipped, self guided 18 foot fishing skiff providing you the freedom to choose when you want to fish, explore or relax. Each tugboat has an experienced fish guide who shares his time with all guests and is on the fishing grounds at all times.

Majestic fjords with calm water, velvet forests, waterfalls and picturesque anchorages offer a true paradise for nature lovers. There is plenty of time for going ashore, join us for clam digging, crabbing a beach BBQ or explore on your own with nature hikes, beach combing and whale watching.

With a maximum of twelve guests you will enjoy the personal service and intimate friendship developed while fishing and cruising the Inside Passage on board a heritage west coast tugboat.

When in season, fly-fishing opportunities may be available.

DAY 1 - Through Day 8 British Columbia

Prince Rupert

Prince Rupert is British Columbia's undiscovered northern hot spot bordering the Alaska panhandle and home to the famous Skeena and Nass River runs of Chinook (King) salmon. These impressive salmon are world famous and reach weights upwards of 90 lbs. The peak time is mid June through July.

The wildlife is abundant and the scenery ranges from glacier capped fiords and passages to the sandy beaches and rocky shores of the outer islands. Prince Rupert is a picturesque small city and guests may arrive via air from Vancouver, ferry from Port Hardy on Northern Vancouver Island or via train through the magnificent Rocky and Coastal mountains

Bella Bella

Protected Glassy Calm water, white sandy beaches, scenic islands, picturesque channels, steep fiords, clams, dungeness crab, cod, halibut, all five species of salmon and trout from coastal streams are enhanced by the sunny skies and warm days that occur during the peak of the summer months. On this central coast section of the fabulous Inside Passage Westwind Tugboats "follow the fish" and at the same time enjoys some of the best scenery in B.C. Experience close encounters with schools of porpoise, Orca and Grey whales as we move daily to stay on the fish. This area also boasts some famous trophy fishing spots - River's Inlet, Hakai Pass and Milbanke Sound are all within our range and our guests fish these as well as our private anchorages and secluded hot spots.

Trophy Chinook salmon are most abundant in late July and early August with fish being taken in the 35-85Lb. range. Halibut fishing is very productive in this region with many hot spots to test throughout the week, halibut average 30 -120Lbs. The Coho runs become thick in August with the salmon feeding vigorously and near the surface, averaging 15 -18 Lbs. they provide consistant exciting light tackle action. This unique abundance and variety is hard to match anywhere else in BC and the opportunity also exists for some fabulous estuary and salt water fly fishing.

Anglers can take advantage of the calm water channels that allow access to river estuaries and bays teaming with salmon waiting for the right conditions to migrate upstream, try your luck from your custom skiff or go ashore and cast from the river's edge and at the same time enjoy a beach BBQ including pots full of mouthwatering dungeness crab and little neck steamer clams.

Scenery, good weather, sandy beaches, clam digging and spectacular fishing make Bella Bella one of the top adventure locations on the coast, we recommend this area for individuals and families who want the best variety and calm waters.

Our 1941 heritage wooden tugboat, the Parry is lovingly maintained and beautifully appointed with comfortable two berth cabins, fireside lounge, spotless bathrooms and showers plus a busy galley serving unbelievable food and desserts. Creature comforts are provided with bathrobes, extra pillows, hairdryers and a complimentary selection of wines from around the world.

The skipper and crew are eager to pamper you and the shipboard atmosphere is totally relaxing. Guests are encouraged to visit the pilot house and take a turn at the wheel or a tour of the spotless engine room and watch the smooth operation of these antique engines.
