Antarctica & The Falkland Islands
Buenos Aires to Ushuaia
Island Hopping | 18 Nights | Nature & Wildlife
Top▲Highlights
European styles and avenues grander than those in Paris fill the city forever linked with Eva Perón. Two nights let you explore this cosmopolitan hub, a far cry from the reclusive Falkland Islands or the tranquillity of Antarctica. We’ll call on one of the peninsula’s scientific stations, where teams monitor wildlife and the effects of climate change. And follow where pioneer adventurers were destined to become heroes.

Discovery (Voyages of Discovery)
Small Cruise Ship (Boutique) | 650 Passengers | Operated by Voyages of Discovery,
At 650 passengers – small in comparison to today's mega liners – Discovery is big enough for cruising to faraway places yet small enough to enter remote harbors that larger vessels must pass by. Facilities include 351 cabins and suites, equipped with televisions and built-in hairdryers; three restaurants; five elegant lounges; a well-stocked library; modern health club and beauty center; two swimming pools, one with a retractable dome; two Jacuzzis; and duty-free boutiques. Senior officers are Scandinavian, British and Dutch; the cruise staff is American and European; while the service staff -perhaps the ship's biggest asset - is from the Philippines.
